With texas on the verge of a full blown epidemic...

or so the conservative panic masters would have you believe...Rick Perry chose to jet off to Europe to deliver a chest thumping, Tim the Tool Man ooh ooh ooh, we are the masters of the universe speech. Do you suppose they could put a travel ban to texas in effect and erect that fence around the state before he gets back?

You would think this would attract the attention of the conservative media watchdogs...the state is virtually devolving into a zombie apocalypse and the Governor scrambles a jet and hightails it as far away from the nightmare as he can without accidentally overshooting the landing strip and winding up in the hotzone in Africa...

With the 2016 elections fast approaching, one can only hope that Perry, Palin, Christie and maybe even Ben Carson thrown in for color, will not disappoint the country and deliver the best three ring circus ever under the big tent...Hillary only has to sit back and let the mayhem deliver the presidency to her with a bow on top. Maybe if we all wish real hard the "It's too dam hot" guy will join the parade as well.

As a footnote to this observation...I have to ask, is it any wonder that Texas' healthcare system is so sub par, that the care providers are so poorly trained that a nurse would travel on a commercial air carrier while showing symptoms of infection, and facilities so lacking in reliable equipment that, not one but two personnel would become infected...when the Governor  chooses to politic overseas while the people are left to the mercy of  the unrelenting fear cycle of the conservative talking heads...who's only real concern is how to spin the dilemma in such a way as to influence the impending election cycle.  If history is any reference the hysteria will result in little more than archived headlines, as we've seen in the past with predictions of ten dollar gas, confiscation of guns, collapse of the monetary system, death panels, concentration camps, and the mandatory 666 tattoo on everyone's forehead...but just a casual perusal of conservative websites and social media pages reveals that logic and common sense is not a pervasive trait shared by the right wing.
